More Ways to Branch: Your Next Trip to the Drugstore

Heading to the drugstore? Make the most of your next trip there with Branch. Not just the place for reeeeeally long receipts, local drugstore chains have been the go-to hub for prescriptions, smaller grocery runs, and emergency packs of Sour Patch Kids. Plus, they’re conveniently located  -- nearly 4 in 5 Americans live within 5 miles of a Walgreens store, while about 7 in 10 Americans live within 3 miles of a CVS.

With an app like Branch, you’re able to handle most of your needs with a few swipes of your card. But occasionally, you’ll need to take out or deposit cash and Branch can still help you with that! Here’s how you can use Branch to complete those tasks on your next trip to your local CVS, Walgreens, or Rite Aid:

Cash Reloads: Whether it’s extra tips or a friend paying you back in cash, you can actually deposit that moolah onto your Branch Card. Just head to the cashier to request a cash reload. After providing the cash along with your Branch Card to the attendant, they can quickly add your money to the Branch Wallet. Note: there may be a small fee associated with that charged by the location.

Fee-free ATMs via AllPoint: Need to actually withdraw cash? Branch’s partnership with AllPoint ATM Network means you can withdraw cash from your Branch Card for free at any AllPoint ATM. They’re handily located drugstore chains like Walgreens and CVS, as well as other retail locations like Target, Kroger, and Speedway.

Contactless Payments: And if you’re just picking up a few items, no need to pull your card out or touch the pin pad. You can use your Branch Card via Apple Pay or Google Pay for contactless checkout.
