As Director of Communications for Branch, Adrianne works with all of our departments to make sure we tell a cohesive story and communicate the correct information to our partners, customers, and the general public. She's an integral part of what keeps Branch running each day!
What is your job title and what are your responsibilities here at Branch?
Communications Director. I help tell and share Branch’s story and what we do with media, analysts, partners, and a variety of other groups. I work with departments on their strategies for building relationships with external audiences and keeping them informed about the latest and greatest with Branch.
What does your day-to-day look like at Branch?
It’s different everyday! But I always start the morning reading the news and scanning Twitter to check out what’s going on and what people are talking about. Then it’s a mix of writing, research, calls, following up with reporters, and then some more writing.
What did you want to be when you grew up?
A Power Ranger 💥
What was your first job?
Bookseller/cashier at Borders for a summer in high school (RIP Borders). I severely underestimated how much standing was involved and how much stamina it takes to stand for so many hours. Major appreciation for all the people standing—and running around—behind counters everyday.
The first thing you saved up to buy as a kid?
A pair of old sunglasses from my sister. She definitely overcharged and I definitely overpaid. I have become a better bargain hunter ever since.

Friendly, resolute, enthusiastic
When you’re not working, what are your favorite things to do?
I love a good workout class 🏃. And eating dessert—cookies, cupcakes, donuts, the list goes on. It’s a vicious cycle.
The app (aside from Branch) you can’t live without?
Prime Video—my favorite seasons of Friends and 30 Rock are on there.

5 items you have in your fridge at all times:
Spindrift (my husband is obsessed), eggs, mixed greens, cauliflower rice, and some dessert I squirreled away in the freezer.

Favorite part about working for Branch:
The people—and not just my coworkers, although they’re super fun. We have the opportunity to collaborate with a range of really wonderful partner organizations and users who share our same commitment to creating more accessible financial services and technology. I get to learn about so many interesting experiences about how they work with or use Branch.
