Branch is currently only available for sign-up through your employer, but you can keep your Branch account as a consumer if you leave your job.
Through our partnership with employers, Branch can ensure users higher advance access of up to 50% of their earned wages, priority support, 100% access to tips, and other benefits. We’re able to provide a smoother, more consistent experience without disruption.
Regardless of where you work after you’ve set up your Branch account with your employer, you can still keep the account. .
How does Branch make money?
We built Branch to align with the interests of our users — and offer our services FREE to both employers and their workers. We’re able to do this because of something called an interchange fee, which is one of the “merchant fees” that vendors, store owners, and other businesses pay to be able to accept credit and debit cards.
What’s an interchange fee? Everytime a customer uses a credit or debit card to make a purchase, the merchant pays a small fee (called interchange) to the card-issuing bank. So when employees spend using a Branch debit card, a portion of that interchange fee is shared with Branch.
How can I become a Branch partner?
Branch is always looking to grow our EPP partner network. We partner with a broad range of companies in a variety of ways, from Strategic Partnerships that extend our business and leverage our open APIs and no code/low code widgets, to Referral Partners interested in recommending Branch to clients and companies.
