NEW YORK — On Nov. 10th, 2020, Branch, during its participation in the sixth annual Benzinga Global Fintech Awards, a day of dealmaking, networking and recognition in the financial technology space, was named the overall Best Digital Bank.
Hosted by Benzinga, a leading news and data platform, and powered by financial data and insights platform Envestnet | Yodlee, the first-ever virtual award show was jam packed with engaging conversations.
As part of the event, a select few Benzinga Fintech Listmakers were presented awards in 35 different categories for their work creating positive and diverse change in financial services. This task wasn’t easy though. Listmakers underwent two difficult rounds of judging that ranked each company or executive on their impact in the areas of payments, banking, investing, technology, financial literacy and more.
All Benzinga Listmakers and Fintech Award Winners will be honored throughout the next year, and for many more to come, as Benzinga continues to highlight the fintech industry’s most innovative minds.

Branch has created a number of tools to improve the digital banking experience for working Americans, including the launch of contactless payments via Apple Pay and Google Pay, immediate access to debit cards upon sign-up, and real-time transaction insights.
