Raised another round of funding
We closed our $75 million Series C funding. Led by Addition, the round included participation from leading global growth equity investor General Atlantic along with return investors Drive Capital, Crosscut Ventures, Indeed, Matchstick Ventures, Bonfire Ventures, among others. Read more.
Partnered with Tippy to make cashless tips even easier
We teamed up with leading salon and spa digital tipping platform Tippy to launch a new, all-in-one solution for disbursing cashless tips. And it’s not just for salons and spas. From hotels and valet to fitness, restaurants, and petcare, our new solution is easy to set up and improves the tipping process for any kind of service industry. Maximizes tip results, increasing tips 23% on average. Reduce the wait tip for receiving tips by over 96%. Read more.
Launched the Uber Pro Card
With more than 1 million drivers now using the Uber Pro Card to get paid faster, we couldn’t be prouder of our Uber partnership and for the future of what’s to come. Read more.

Opened another office
We opened a new hub in Tampa, Florida! While Branch remains first and foremost a remote-centric culture, we also see continued value in offering the option of an in-person learning environment—and with a number of employees in Florida, this was a move that made sense. Our first hub outside of our Minneapolis headquarters, this new office welcomed new talent in the region. Read more.
Launched Branch Rewards
Branch Rewards are a new feature of the Branch Card that helps workers earn cash back from everyday spending. Most rewards programs are credit card based, but since the Branch Card is a debit card, workers are able to earn cash back from everyday purchases instead of being encouraged to spend on a credit card.
